Surrounded by the Hottentots Holland Mountain range, at the entrance to the Winelands and 20 minutes away from Cape Town International Airport, the Strand and Gordon’s Bay, Somerset West offers a large variety of things to see and do. It is also well know as the Golfer’s paradise and has 15 golf courses within a half an hours drive. It is also said to have the best Christmas Lights in the country.

The accommodation is a short drive to main restaurants, shopping centres, hospitals, scenic and day drives and only half an hour away from Cape Town Centre.

Self catering Accommodation

3 rooms - 10 people

There are 2 cottages and 1 studio and each sleeps 2 – 4 guests. All accommodation has colour TV with various channels, ceiling fans, wall safes and heating panels (in cottages), air-conditioner in studio flat/bedsitter, plus all electrical equipment in kitchens and much more.

All accommodation has it’s own entrance, secure off street under cover parking, use of swimming pool with salt water, garden and braai (bbq) area and serviced once a week.

Meals on request: Should you not want to self cater we offer prepacked breakfast, for you to eat at you convience, picnic packs and evening meals on request and prior arrangement at an additional cost.

Also available at an additional cost: ADSL Internet / E-mail and laundry facilities. Airport transfers during day light hours only and by prior arrangement.

DOLPHIN COTTAGE	Has one bedroom with double bed and bathroom with bath and overhead shower. Open plan lounge, dining area and fully equipped kitchenette. Two children or two adults can sleep in the lounge area on single beds which form a sofa during the day.
GUINEA FOWL COTTAGE	Has one bedroom with two single beds or a king size with a shower in the bathroom. Open plan lounge, dining area and fully equipped kitchenette. Two children or two adults can sleep in the lounge area on singe beds which form a sofa during the day.
THE BIRD’S NEST	A studio / bachelor apartment. One large room attached to the Main House with cooking facilities and en-suite (shower only), suitable for one or two guests.

Conditions

Rates are quoted for double occupancy only. Request rate for up to 4 persons per cottage. Single rate on request.
No special rates will apply to bookings during 1 June and 31 August 2010.
In order to secure a booking a 50% deposit is required immediately. No booking will be confirmed until deposit is cleared.
All bank charges are for the account of the guest.
The balance is PAYABLE ON ARRIVAL IN CASH.
During December and January and World Cup deposits are payable 30 days prior to arrival. Minimum stay during this period is 7 nights.
CANCELLATIONS: Less than 7 days forfeit the full deposit. 7 – 14 days forfeit 75% of deposit. 14 – 21 days forfeit 50% of deposit. 21 – 28 days forfeit 25% of deposit.
BREAKAGE AND KEY DEPOSIT: A deposit if R500 CASH will be taken on arrival and will be returned in full if nothing has been broken or damaged and the keys are returned on departure.
