Positioned on the Cape Peninsula mid way between the Atlantic and False Bay coasts and overlooking Noordhoek Beach and Chapman’s Peak mountain, the lodge is only a short drive to beaches at Fish Hoek, Kommetjie, Noordhoek and Simon’s Town.

The large solar heated swimming pool is sheltered and is ideally suited for having a gentle swim or relaxing on a lounger after a busy day’s sight-seeing. The beautiful landscaped garden with its pathways and seating areas, beckons guests to wander through and survey the indigenous plants and local birdlife. The lodge has secure parking within the fenced property which has access controlled gates, all rooms have electronic safes.

Guest Lodge Accommodation

The Nest Self-catering Cabin: Set on its own away from the main house, this cosy little log cabin has all that one needs to unwind and watch the world go by. Designed for up to two people. One enters the Nest through a covered stoop with log seating area. The patio doors lead into a compact kitchenette with table-top cooker, table and chairs. Seated on the wicker chairs one has a magnificent view of the Atlantic Ocean, Capri Village and Chapman’s Peak. The bedroom area has log frame double bed and furniture. There is a separate bathroom with hand shower. The Nest is surrounded by the main garden but also has its own separate, private grassed area and intimate braai.

The Oakwood Suite Tastefully decorated and comprises a comfortable lounge, separate bedroom with twin beds, and en-suite bathroom with circular shower area. The large lounge has comfortable armchairs, coffee table, writing desk, telephone, a well stocked mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities and flat screened TV. There is a private patio around pool with fabulous views of Noordhoek beach, the ocean and mountains.
Oregon Suite Entered from a private, poolside patio area. The modern lounge has its own feature fireplace set into a stone-clad wall. It has large armchairs, coffee table, writing desk, telephone, a well stocked mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities and flat screened TV. The double en-suite bedroom has patio doors looking out onto the nature reserve and has its own sheltered private garden.
Cottonwood Suite Entered from a private poolside patio area. The light and airy double aspect lounge is furnished with beautiful cottonwood furniture. It has large armchairs, coffee table, writing desk, telephone, a well stocked mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities and flat screened TV. The pretty en-suite bedroom has queen size bed. Patio doors open to a private garden area, with a beautiful view of the mountainside.
Garden Room Popular with honeymooners. Seems to float in the centre of the garden. You enter into the double aspect, sunny lounge area from a quaint, rustic patio. This room has that ‘country feel’ with its pine furniture, stone and pine walls and ceiling. The king size bed (or twin beds if preferred) sits against an imposing stone wall which runs right through into a luxury bathroom. Telephone, armchairs, coffee table, a well stocked mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities, TV and an electronic safe.

The following attractions can be found close to this establishment

  • Situated in quiet, safe surroundings, only 35 minutes from Cape Town city and 45 minutes from Cape Town International Airport.
  • Centrally situated and therefore ideally located for Cape Point Nature Reserve, Boulders Beach with its famous colony of African Penguins, Constantia and other wine routes, Noordhoek art route, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, and many other areas of interest.
  • Horse riding, bird watching, mountain walks, surfing and golf are all close by.
  • Within easy access are many popular activities, golf, whale watching, canoeing, scuba diving, hiking and guided tours such as “Walking with Baboons” and boat trips to Duiker and Seal Islands.

Conditions

  • The rates for B&B suites include breakfast. For log cabin breakfast extra on request.
  • Reservations are only secured on the payment of a deposit of 50% of the total amount for the length of the stay.
  • Our refund of the deposit will be handled as follows: From 4 weeks before arrival: forfeit the full deposit. From 4 to 8 weeks before arrival: forfeit 50% of the deposit. More than 8 weeks before arrival: forfeit 20% of the deposit. A 10% cancellation fee of the total account will be charged regardless.
  • We regret that for safety reasons that we do not accept toddlers and very young children as we have an unguarded swimming pool in close proximity to the rooms. Older children are charged as adults.
  • We accept Visa and Master credit cards. Also bank deposits.
  • Arrival time 14:00 onwards; departure time not later than 10:00 unless otherwise arranged.
  • Directions to be forwarded on confirmation of booking.
  • No smoking. No dogs allowed.
  • Rates subject to change without prior notice.
