Bloubergstrand is situated on the West Coast and from here you have the famous postcard view of Table Mountain. It is only 15 minutes' drive to Cape Town and the Waterfront, 25 minutes to the airport and within easy driving distance to all the major tourist attractions. It is also very convenient for business travellers requiring accommodation close to Century City, Grand West Casino, Paarden Island, Montague Gardens, Killarney Gardens, Koeberg power station and Atlantis.

Dolphin Beach Self-catering Apartment is situated on Blouberg beachfront adjacent to the Rietvlei nature area. Note: although this apartment is on the beach front it faces the vlei and does not have a sea view.

  • For the bored: Shop at Pick & Pay Mall and Bayside Centre or see a movie at one of Ster Kinekor's 8 theaters. Try your luck at the Grand West Casino or enjoy a day of fun at the Ratanga Junction Theme Park.
  • For the fit: Walk, cycle, roller blade along beach front or try a swim in the refreshing cold water of the Atlantic Ocean. Use your membership card at the ultra-modern Virgin Active Club and keep in shape.
  • For the surfers: Ride the waves at Big Bay or catch a tan while you watch the action.
  • For nature lovers: Study the birds on Rietvlei. There are 112 species including flocks of flamingos and pelicans. Visit Sancob in Pentz Drive where injured birds are cared for. Follow the dikkop and grysbok trail at Koeberg Nature Reserve. Watch the whales when they come to visit our bay. At other times you may be lucky to see a school of dolphins play in the sea or seals surf in the waves and sunning on the beach. Take a picnic basket and watch the beautiful sunsets from the beach.
  • For the energetic: Play a game of tennis at the Milnerton or Bloubergstrand Tennis Courts. Sink a few puts at the Milnerton Golf Course.
  • For the restless: Fly a kite on the grass area next to the Dolphin Beach Complex. Enjoy the waterpark with its braai area, water slides, swimming pool and mini golf course. If cars are your passion, follow the roar of engines at Killarney Motor Racing Circuit . Horse riding outings can be arranged at Milnerton Riding Club. What about canoeing on the Milnerton Lagoon or playing a game of bowls at the Milnerton Bowling Club. Visit the West Coast Ostrich Farm or follow everyone else to the Waterfront with all its attractions and activities. Don't miss a show at the Imax Theater while you're there.
