The world's largest wine route, Route 62, winds throught the Breede River Valley in the Western Cape, South Africa. Route 62 is a shorter option between Cape Town and Oudtshoorn than the N2 National Road and is known for its picturesque landscapes, beautiful villages and some of the best wines in the country.

The rediscovered scenic Route 62 passes from Ceres to Worcester (the main economic centre of the region) and Robertson through the Breede River Valley and Klein Karoo. Villages along the way include Aston, Bonnievale, McGregor, Montagu, Rawsonville, Tulbach and Wolseley. The people of the Breed River Valley are hospitable in true South African country style, making accommodation here an inviting and restful experience for guests while leisurely exploring the route and wine estates.
